We’re working on a project to help the morale in a company. As we’re doing research on this topic we reviewed Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. I was reflecting on where I was on this scale and found myself thanking God for how He has provided all of my needs.
There are plenty of days when a lying voice creeps in and threatens my thinking to the point of inciting anxiety or depression. That’s when I’m really grateful for learning how to change my mind. My simple process is to remember Who I belong to, how He has treated me and what He has promised me.
I’ve met many folks who have no interested or time for Christianity. This is often the result of how Christian’s have behaved. The Good News of Christianity is what God has done to reconcile us to Him. People are imperfect, God is perfect.
We’re trying to live in such a way that we are enablers of reconciliation not a hindrance. It is most often fear that causes us to behave in controlling or inappropriate ways. We thank God for His perfect love that casts out fear. Remember that you are loved and to love in return.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
