I have a photo on my laptop desktop that looks blurry in some areas when I stare at them. When I “pull my vision back” from the photo and look at the “big picture” it’s beautiful.
I’ve wasted too many hours, days and weeks focusing on what’s wrong in life. As I “pull back” and look at life from an eternal perspective, I can see beauty and God’s goodness in everything. This takes practice though. 🙂
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 We don’t give up. Our bodies are becoming weaker and weaker. But our spirits are being renewed day by day. Our troubles are small. They last only for a short time. But they are earning for us a glory that will last forever. It is greater than all our troubles.
So we don’t spend all our time looking at what we can see. Instead, we look at what we can’t see. What can be seen lasts only a short time. But what can’t be seen will last forever.
