Take me there

Last night I learned that Ibel is going to speak at 9:00 a.m. this morning at a retreat.  This is not something I think she ever dreamed of doing.  She hasn’t been feeling well and asked for prayer.  As usual, I told her I’d pray for her and realized deep in my spirit that I should pray right away. The prayer was honest, heartfelt and full of faith.

This morning I’m in Bethlehem, PA on the way to meet my 90 year old second cousin Gus.  So, I texted Ibel to see how she was doing.  She had a great night of sleep and is feeling much better.  Our God is so very good.

I’m not sure how it was that the LORD worked in my heart so many years ago to turn towards Him but, He did.  When I cried out to Him, He answered my prayer and saved me from hopelessness.  Bring your troubles to Him, He cares for you.

Psalm 120:1 I took my troubles to the Lord;
I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.
