Don’t panic

There have been a few times that I can remember having what I guess you would call a panic attack. They were due to claustrophobic conditions. In each case the cure was to see a bigger picture, that in fact there was a way out of that perceived prison.

There are some situations in life that seem unbearably frustrating that get us to a point of being unreasonable (or unable to reason). When people are involved it often results in our unwillingness to forgive someone who has wronged us. The rescue comes in understanding how much we’ve been forgiven. That’s the bigger picture.

Forgive as you have been forgiven.

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?”

“No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
