As a boy I remember lying on the grass and watching the clouds. I started to wonder what was beyond the sky I could see and then what was beyond that and beyond that and beyond that . . . . I remember noticing how many blades of grass there were around me and tried to imagine how many more there were in the world. What was going on there? How does a young boy end up contemplating such marvelous thoughts?
As I consider the greatness of creation as we know it and the Creator of all that is seen and unseen, I’m humbled. My heart leaps with gratitude and praise for my great God who came near and made Himself known to me. With God, all things are possible.
1 Chronicles 29:11
Lord, you are great and powerful. Glory, majesty and beauty belong to you. Everything in heaven and on earth belongs to you. Lord, the kingdom belongs to you. You are honored as the One who rules over all.
