There are a bunch of cornfields in our town. One year we noticed a small hand-written sign for a farm stand and took the side road to check it out. The farmer suggested we try eating the corn raw. I had never heard of this but, gave it a try. It was delicious.
Today we often search for natural or organic food because we want to be healthy. Unfortunately, many foods are labeled to be all natural when in fact there are plenty of ingredients in them that we need to avoid. I’m no expert in this area but, we are learning that knowing more about the provider of these foods gives us some assurance that what we’re buying is in fact organic.
Knowing God as our Provider has been even more important to our spiritual, emotional and physical health. He is the Source of every good and perfect gift. The mystery of the Trinity (Father, Son and Spirit as one God) doesn’t dilute the power of God in our lives but instead expands who He is for and to us. As Christian believers we have Christ in us the hope of glory. That’s communion in it’s purest form.
John 17:23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
