Life is intentional

When I was 14 years old I met one of my best friends, Robert Riolo. We were playing in the high school jazz band and learned that we both loved the Beatles. So, we started singing together. Later on, Jim Romaniello approached us about starting a band. Rob Santoro and Ken Levine were the first two bass players and then Dan Carlucci joined the band. From there we practiced regularly and sought as much work as we could. Some 10 years later we were playing as many as 6 nights a week. This was our passion and we gave our lives to it.

When I met Ibel and we starting dating we were together all of the time. We intentionally met every morning before work to read the Scriptures and have communion with each other and the LORD at Cove Island. We’ve been committed to each other ever since.

The things you love are typically the things you pursue. Our relationship with God grows when we demonstrate our love for Him. In fact, our love grows in the same way. If your love for God is waning, take some time today to get back on path. He is more wonderful than you can imagine.

“so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19 NASB
