Math came easily to me in grammar school. Later on, geometry and trigonometry were not so easy. Music seemed to be an integral part of who I am. I was so inclined towards music that I pursued learning music theory without an instructor. I was just hungry to know more.
We watched our kids go through much of the same experience. Some things came easier than others. It’s as if we’re each designed specifically with certain strengths that are tied to our purpose in life.
In any case, a humble attitude towards our gifted-ness is in order since they’re gifts and not something we can take credit for. We are responsible however to be great stewards of our gifts to God’s glory.
God’s design is purposeful. You have an assignment that only you can fulfill. His will is that you participate in His Kingdom according to His purposes. The first step is aligning yourself with Him by receiving forgiveness for your sin and a new life in the Spirit. Do you know who you are? Find your way.
