Tragic

darknessoverlightWe’ve all suffered great loss at one time or another in our lives.  It seems we’re faced daily with trials of one kind or another.  How do you thrive in the midst of chaos?

Losing hope may be one of the most tragic conditions in my life.  When my mind is filled with fear, anxiety and depressing thoughts it seems nearly impossible to know the joy of hope. Yet, my experience is that “though sorrow may last for a night, joy comes in the morning”.

With that history as a foundation, I’m choosing the joy of the LORD today.  He promised to never leave us nor forsake us so, I’m placing my hope there.  He is faithful.

To all of my friends that need encouragement today, know that God loves you with an everlasting love and His people are in your corner.  Taste and see that the LORD is good.  You cannot taste something until you’ve received it.  Seek the LORD and He will give you rest and refreshment.

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
