There’s more to life than what we can see.

Some years ago the “movie” Osmosis Jones came out and we were taken on an animated ride through the inside of our bodies.  While I don’t remember much about the movie, what I do remember is the fascination I had with what actually goes on in there.

I get weak in the knees when I have to give blood so, I’m not the best candidate to be a surgeon.  The many ways the workings of our bodies has been demonstrated through books, articles and film give us a glimpse of what most of us don’t think much about every day.

There’s another type of seeing that is supernatural.  Prayer opens the window to see outside of ourselves.  Many times we are able to look back and see what God was doing while we were unaware.  There is so much spiritual activity going on right this second that it might actually freak us out if we were aware of it all.

What I’ve seen is that God is so much better than I can imagine.  There’s a verse that says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard what God has in store for those who love Him.”  Find some time today to search out what the LORD is doing and join Him in His work.

2 Kings 6:17

Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.
