I work alone most of the time. I suppose it’s been for a good purpose but, I really don’t like it. It’s too easy to get overwhelmed with all that needs to be done and lose my spiritual focus. I love being with people.
One of the most glorious truths of the Gospel is that when I embrace the sacrifice of Jesus for my sins, the Holy Spirit comes to live in me. So, I’m not really alone. In fact, every time I engage with the Spirit, He comforts me and hope returns.
Many people struggle with spending time with God alone. For me it’s a matter of what I’m focusing on. Jesus said that the Father loves me as much as He loves Him (Jesus). I know that my soul is restless until it finds its rest in Him. May you know that He loves you and see Him everywhere you go today.
John 17:22-24 “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
