This morning I will be with a bunch of folks that sincerely love the LORD. We’ll sing joyfully because of how good God has been to us. There won’t be any harps or ten-stringed lyres to my knowledge but, with djembe, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard and voices we will play skillfully for and to our God.
It’s not common to see folks in CT shout for joy though. I know many of us do at sporting events however, so, there’s hope.
Psalm 33
1 Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous;
it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
2 Praise the LORD with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
